Mr. Kamlesh Parwani a Petrochemical Engineer by qualification, joined MEGlobal International FZE, Dubai as a Global Business Development Manager and within 2 years was promoted to his current roles of Commercial Director for METIP region and additional responsibility as a Global Pricing Manager.

MEGlobal is a world leader in manufacturing and marketing of EG globally supplying more than 3.5 Million tons across the world.

Prior to joining MEGlobal, Kamlesh has had an illustrious career with Dow Chemical, India from 2005 to 2011 managing their Licensing Technology Business for the MEIP Region and various Global Marketing assignments in the Personal Care, Food and Pharmaceutical industry.
Post completing his engineering Kamlesh also did his Masters in Marketing Management and prior to joining Dow worked as Product Manager in organizations like Rhodia and Atofina.

With over a decade and half of managing and working with teams of diverse cultures and geographies, Kamlesh‘s managerial skills have been widely recognized in several organizations. If you have had the chance to work with him, you would have known that he is a firm believer in what Mahatma Gandhi says “Customer is the most important person in the business cycle. We are dependent on him and he is the purpose of our work. They do us immense favor by providing us with an opportunity to serve them”.

Malini Hariharan has over 20 years of experience in tracking and analyzing the global petrochemicals industry. Based in Mumbai, Malini is engaged in business development for ICIS services in South Asia.

She is also responsible for content development of the training business at ICIS and delivering petrochemical courses globally.

She writes about the chemicals industry with a special focus on Asia and the Middle East. She has interviewed many of the movers and shakers in China, India, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Malini was previously deputy editor of Asian Chemicals News. She started her career with Indian Petrochemicals Corp (IPCL) in India, engaged in sales and marketing of commodity polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride and chemicals such as benzene, toluene and linear alkyl benzene
